Job Description
As a Hotel Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our hotel by managing inventory, conducting data entry, and staying informed about market trends. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and possess a strong understanding of stock management in a hospitality setting.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Conduct regular stock checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Monitor expiration dates and manage product rotations.
- Data Entry:
- Input data related to stock levels, orders, and deliveries into the hotel’s system.
- Generate reports on inventory status and sales trends.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Market Knowledge:
- Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices.
- Identify new products that align with the hotel’s standards and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Customer Service:
- Assist hotel staff with any stock-related inquiries.
- Ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of internal requests for supplies.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in stock management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in data entry and working with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of market trends and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
