Job Description
Location: Lagos
Work Mode: Hybrid, Full-time
Salary: ₦250,00 – ₦450,00.
Background: B2B Sales, Business Development, Solar and Renewable Energy.
A top dynamic and innovative energy solutions providing brand is looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the brand’s business growth and expand the brand’s market presence in the renewable energy sector.
Top 3 Specific Goals
- Establish a solid pipeline of B2B customers willing to convert to solar energy in the shortest possible time.
- Understand and help develop/improve the current sales/customer acquisition process.
- Constantly meeting assigned sales target (closing a minimum of 5 deals a month and meeting a minimum sales target of ₦20 Million).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably in the renewable energy (Solar) industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Deep knowledge of the Nigerian market, including key players, customers, and market dynamics.
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to drive strategic decision-making.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong experience with B2B sales and an ability to foster relationships with key decision-makers on the client side.
