Job Description
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a Hiab truck equipped with an articulated crane to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and crane to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Safely load and unload cargo using the crane and ensure it is properly secured for transport.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan the most efficient and safe routes for transportation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle and crane.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including items delivered, time of delivery, and any issues that may have arisen during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other members of the team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any issues or needed repairs to the appropriate parties.
Requirements
- Valid Hiab license and certification.
- Proven experience as a Hiab driver.
- Ability to operate Hiab crane safely and efficiently.
- Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work weekends and overtime if required.
- Clean driving record and ability to follow road regulations and traffic signs.

Salary: ₦70,00.00 – ₦90,00.00 per month
