Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with relevant national and international regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical quality.
- Interact with regulatory authorities during inspections and audits.
- Oversee the quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytical results.
- Collaborate with research and development teams to establish quality standards for new products.
- Establish and maintain robust documentation and record-keeping systems.
- Ensure that all documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with standards and regulations.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans based on audit findings.
- Provide training on quality procedures and standards to employees.
- Ensure that all staff is aware of and adheres to quality policies.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes.
- Implement measures to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate quality-related risks.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for quality assurance.
- Evaluate and manage the quality performance of suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure that raw materials and components meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relevant Scientific discipline preferably Pharmacy.
- Experience: Not less than 10 years of experience in quality assurance roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in managing QA teams. In-depth knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines (PCN, SON, NAFDAC).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality issues.
