Our client, a leading company in the consulting space is seeking a well experienced Head, Human Resource to drive the human resource initiatives and operatons of the the organisation .The role involves strategic planning, policy development, talent management, and ensuring compliance with HR regulations. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor to the executive team and play a crucial role in shaping the company’s culture and employee experience.

The Ideal candidate will be responsible for;

a) Strategic Leadership:

· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.

· Provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR team.

· Serve as a key member of the executive team, contributing to business strategy and decision-making.

b) Talent Management:

· Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

· Develop and implement talent management and succession planning strategies.

· Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

c) Employee Relations:

· Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts effectively.

· Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

· Implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction.

d) Compensation and Benefits:

· Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.

· Ensure compensation practices comply with current legislation.

e) Compliance and Policies:

· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

· Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR legal requirements.

f) Performance Management:

· Oversee performance appraisal processes and systems.

· Implement performance improvement plans and strategies.

· Provide coaching and support to managers on performance issues.

g) Diversity and Inclusion:

· Develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives.

· Promote an inclusive workplace culture.

h) HR Analytics and Reporting:

· Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making.

· Prepare and present reports to senior management.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

· Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

· Proven experience in an HR consulting environment is highly desirable.

· Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.

· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

· Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦300,00.00 – ₦350,00.00 per month
