Job Description
The Rural Watch Africa Initiative (RUWAI) is seeking a committed Grants Specialist Volunteer for a full-time remote position. This role involves identifying potential grant opportunities, drafting compelling proposals, conducting in-depth research, and developing comprehensive budgets. Key responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, preparing grant applications, and ensuring adherence to grant compliance standards.
Ideal candidates should demonstrate excellent proposal writing and communication skills, proficiency in research and analysis, and experience in budgeting and financial planning. The ability to work independently is essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Environmental Science, or a related field is required. Experience within the environmental or agricultural sectors is an advantage.
