Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Generator Tow Driver to join our team. As a Generator Tow Driver, your main responsibility will be to transport and deliver generators to various locations as per the assigned schedule.
Job Duties:
- Operate company-owned vehicles to transport generators safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload generators onto the truck using the appropriate equipment.
- Ensure that generators are properly secured and protected during transportation.
- Plan and follow the designated routes in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain accurate records of each delivery, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during transportation.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any repairs or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in operating and transporting generators is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
