Description:
- We are looking for a capable industry professional with entrepreneurial acumen to lead our operations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Enhance business processes and operations for improved performance and profitability.
- Develop strategic initiatives for new business lines and additional revenue sources to maximize company earnings.
- Restructure and reposition the division to attract capital investment from potential investors.
- Collaborate with clients to secure profitable business, optimal routes, and reduced downtime.
- Manage expenses and implement procurement processes to enhance accountability.
- Recruit and ensure the training of qualified drivers.
- Maintain the roadworthiness of all trucks, optimize utilization, and uphold turnaround time (TAT).
- Enforce excellent service delivery in line with world-class standards and foster customer loyalty.
Candidate Profile:
- B.Sc Degree / HND in Business Administration or a transport-related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
- A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in the Logistics Industry, with at least 8 years in a senior management position.
- Possess a pool of qualified drivers ready for deployment.
- Establish good relations with the management of NBL Nigeria, Dangote, Guinness Nigeria, and other companies requiring Silo, short trucks, and Trailers.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive business initiatives to maximize profit.
- Membership in a recognized professional body.
