Job Description
As a General Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial planning and analysis activities of Pan African Towers Limited. Your responsibilities will include providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, forecasting and budgeting, analyzing financial performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis team in developing annual operating plans, financial forecasts, and budgets
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
- Identify and evaluate financial risks and opportunities for the company
- Prepare financial models and conduct financial analysis to support business initiatives and investment decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives with business goals
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Qualified candidates for this position should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
