Job Description

A General Accountant plays a vital role in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting. They are responsible for maintaining reliable and complete accounting records, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, general ledger, and financial statements.
• Handling the reconciliation of bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies or anomalies.
• Preparing and maintaining balance sheet schedules and supporting documentation.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assisting in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in general accounting or related field.
