Job Description
A Fleet Administrator is responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of a company’s vehicle fleet. This includes ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained, registered, and insured. They oversee scheduling and dispatching of drivers, manage fuel consumption and mileage records, and handle any issues related to the fleet.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate vehicle records, including registration, insurance, and maintenance history
- Scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Monitoring fuel consumption and mileage
- Overseeing driver scheduling and dispatch
- Managing fleet policies and procedures
- Addressing any fleet-related issues that arise
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. They should be familiar with fleet management software and have a good understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
