Job Title: Financial Accountant

Job Style: Hybrid

Job Status: Permanent

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Job Summary: The Financial Accountant oversees internal controls, tax planning, and monthly financial closings. Responsibilities include audits, compliance, tax filings, and financial strategy collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage internal controls and conduct audits.
• Oversee tax planning, preparation, and compliance.
• Handle monthly financial closings and reporting.
• Identify policy gaps, recommend improvements, and document processes.
• Collaborate with the CEO on financial tasks and strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Additional certification (ACCA/ICAN and CIA/CISA) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong experience in Nigerian tax administration, especially within the movie industry.
• Proven work experience as an internal auditor, preferably with Big Four experience.
• Knowledge of local and international movie industry standards is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SUN Systems, and QuickBooks.
• Strong follow-up and tracking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦600,00.00 per month
