Job Description
About the Client
Our client is a start-up that creates technology and training solutions that enable fashion creatives in Africa to scale their businesses globally using ecommerce, digital payments, digital sourcing, and distributed manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Management: Set-up and manage a Fashion-Tech Centre of Excellence
- Technology: Ensure the centre showcases and makes available best-in-class technology and technical equipment
- Training and Entrepreneurship Development: Oversee the delivery of physical and virtual training programs to fashion entrepreneurs
- Revenue Generation: Leverage the centre’s personnel, state-of-the-art facilities, and creative studios to grow additional revenue streams beyond training
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field/MBA
- Minimum of 5 years’ people management experience in Fashion Training, Entrepreneurship Development, Business Incubation, or Technology
- Experience with the use of fashion equipment and managing studios (clothing, leather goods, or photography) will be an advantage
