Job Description

Our client in the real estate industry is looking to hire an Estate Surveyor and Valuer to provide professional surveying, valuation, and property advisory services in line with industry standards and company expectations.

To carry out professional surveying, valuation, and property advisory services in line with industry standards and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional valuations of land and buildings for sale, mortgage, insurance, probate, and related purposes.

Carry out detailed property inspections and structural surveys to assess asset condition and market value.

Manage property portfolios on behalf of clients, including rent collection, service charges, and lease renewals.

Negotiate property sales and purchases to secure the best possible terms for clients and the firm.

Conduct feasibility and viability studies for proposed real estate development projects.

Act as a letting agent by sourcing credible tenants and conducting background checks.

Advise clients on land use, zoning regulations, and real estate investment strategies within Nigeria.

Handle compensation claims and represent clients in matters relating to compulsory land acquisition.

Maintain up-to-date records of property market trends, rental yields, and capital values across Lagos.

Liaise with legal practitioners to ensure accurate documentation and smooth title transfers.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc or HND) in Estate Management from a reputable institution.

Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in estate surveying and valuation.

Must be a Registered Estate Surveyor and Valuer (RSV) with ESVARBON.

Associate membership of NIESV is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of Lagos State land administration systems and property laws.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital valuation tools/software.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and report-writing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦300,00.00 – ₦400,00.00 per month
