Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick-up and Delivery:
- Collect packages and documents for delivery.
- Ensure prompt deliveries with necessary confirmations.
- Obtain required signatures.
- Route Planning:
- Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Avoid traffic congestion.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Complete paperwork for Logistics Manager.
- Customer Service:
- Communicate professionally.
- Address customer queries.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Check and report vehicle issues.
- Keep vehicle clean and maintained.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to regulations and company policies.
- Emergency Handling:
- Manage unforeseen circumstances promptly.
Additional Duties:
- Assist in warehouse or office.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous similar role preferred.
- Skills: Local area knowledge, time management, communication.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean record.
- Physically fit for package handling.
