Aeona is a dynamic and innovative tech-startup company committed to excellence in software development. We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with a strong emphasis on provision of security to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline to ensure the secure development, deployment, and operation of software systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and implement effective security controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security concerns throughout the software development life cycle.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation.
• Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure, code, and configurations.
• Work closely with development and operations teams to automate security processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on security.
• In-depth knowledge of security concepts, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating security tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
