Job Description
A Data Center Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a data center facility. They ensure that all critical systems, such as power, cooling, and security, are functioning properly to maintain maximum uptime.
Key responsibilities of a Data Center Facility Manager include managing and monitoring infrastructure and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs, supervising staff, and implementing security measures.
Additionally, this role involves developing and implementing operational procedures, conducting risk assessments, and planning for disaster recovery.
Required qualifications for this position may include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, knowledge of data center infrastructure technologies, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
