Job Description
A Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the company’s computer networks and systems from unauthorized access, attacks, and potential security breaches. They play a critical role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information.
The key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and managing the organization’s cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Monitoring network traffic and analyzing security logs for any suspicious activities.
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify any potential weaknesses in the system.
- Developing and implementing security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- Educating employees about cybersecurity best practices and providing training programs.
