Job Description
A Credit Underwriter is responsible for assessing risks related to extending credit to individuals or businesses. They analyze financial data, review credit history, and make decisions on loan applications based on predetermined guidelines.
- Evaluating creditworthiness of applicants
- Assessing financial statements and credit reports
- Collaborating with loan officers and clients
- Making recommendations on loan approvals
