Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality healthcare services, supporting patient care, and ensuring compliance with medical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide appropriate care and advice.
• Perform routine clinical procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, administering injections, etc.) and update patient records accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with the physician’s instructions.
• Provide immediate medical care in emergency situations.
• Assist physicians and surgeons during medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and reports.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess a valid qualification and be duly registered with the appropriate regulatory body.
• A valid practicing license is required.
• Experience working in a pharmacy will be an added advantage.
• Must reside within Magodo, Shangisha, Ketu, or nearby environs.
