Job Description
As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims. Your main duties will include verifying claim information, conducting investigations, assessing damages, and determining claim payouts. You will work closely with clients, insurance agents, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate claim settlements.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing claim documents
- Conducting investigations to verify the validity of claims
- Assessing damages and estimating claim payouts
- Negotiating settlements and resolving any claims-related disputes
- Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
- Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the claims process
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience in claims handling or the insurance industry is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using claim management software and MS Office
