Job Description

Job Summary

The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the organization. The role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development, and closing sales in line with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold/warm leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies.
  • Conduct market intelligence to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to ensure successful service delivery.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Attend industry events, meetings, and networking sessions to promote the company’s brand.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Support marketing initiatives and campaigns aimed at business growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦120,00.00 – ₦200,00.00 per month
