Job Description
Swift Consulting is looking to fill the role of a qualified Business Development Officer for our client in the electrical engineering sector.
Job Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in business management or administration, finance, marketing, or related field.
- 3 – 5 years proven work experience as a business development officer or similar role.
Responsibilities
- Identify business growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to increase company sales.
- Identify company products and services that are underperforming, develop an in-depth knowledge of company pricing and policies, and improve existing sales proposals.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
- Engage swiftly on Tender and bidding processes for project contracts (electrical engineering field).
- Work with team on Tender Journals.
- Quote/Proposal preparation.
- Meet with potential investors to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
- Ensure the company can achieve revenue targets.
- Provide insight into product development and competitive positioning.
- Analyze customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
- Analyze financial data and develop effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
- Develop and sustain solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
Skills/Qualifications
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to travel as needed.
- Proficient or experienced in Tender and bidding processes for project contracts (electrical engineering field).
