We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client in the oil and gas sector for the role of Business Architect (Freelance).
Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO) / Head of IT Strategy
In this role, you will define and maintain business capability maps, value streams, and process architectures across the Oil & Gas value chain. Bridge business strategy to technology execution,
ensuring EA decisions support operational excellence and strategic outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise business capability and value-stream maps.
- Conduct as-is and future-state process analysis across upstream, midstream, downstream.
- Facilitate business discovery workshops and elicit capability requirements.
- Translate business strategies into architectural requirements.
- Support prioritization, business case development, and benefits realization.
- Ensure traceability between EA decisions and business value
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 7–10 years as Business Architect/Analyst in Oil & Gas or similar industry.
- Strong experience with BPMN, capability modeling, and process optimization.
- Certifications: BIZBOK, CBAP, BPM certifications preferred.
