Job Description
The Building and Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of buildings and infrastructure projects. They manage a team of professionals and contractors to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and schedule. The position requires strong leadership and project management skills, as well as extensive knowledge of construction processes and building codes.
Key responsibilities of the Building and Infrastructure Manager include:
- Developing and implementing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Supervising and coordinating the work of architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Reviewing and approving project designs, specifications, and construction plans
- Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, government officials, and contractors
- Managing project risks and resolving any issues that may arise during construction
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to senior management
