job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, skilled, and customer-focused Bar Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring guests enjoy excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol in line with company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times
- Stock bar supplies, monitor inventory, and report shortages
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Engage customers politely and create a pleasant guest experience
- Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Assist in closing duties, including reconciling sales and securing stock
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as a Bar Attendant or Bartender is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of drink mixing and bar service
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
- Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
- Ability to stand for long hours and work under pressure
- Basic cash-handling skills
- Must be honest, punctual, and team-oriented
Qualifications
- Minimum of SSCE / WAEC or equivalent
- Hospitality or bartending training is an added advantage
