Job Description
Incash Africa, a fintech company that offers advances for verified salary amounts, is currently recruiting for the position of Backend Developer.
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain MongoDB databases and clusters.
- Create and manage roles and users.
- Optimize performance and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with the application team to gather requirements and implement new features.
- Create and maintain document validation and optimization.
- Design and implement MongoDB architecture.
- Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB and Node.js.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in MongoDB and related technologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience with relational databases (SQL).
- Experience with non-relational databases (NoSQL).
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with RESTful API design.
- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.
- Strong understanding of OOP.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with JavaScript ES6 ES7.
- Experience with React.js.
- Experience with NoSQL databases other than MongoDB.
- Experience with MongoDB aggregation pipelines.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Koa.
- Experience with AWS EC2 lambda and EBS.
- Experience with DevOps practices.
- Experience with GitHub.
