Job Description
We are a consultant to some reputable organizations, and we are currently recruiting qualified and competent personnel for the position of Audit Senior on behalf of our client, DutchRoyal Integrated Resources International.
Industry: Audit firm
Location: Lagos Mainland
Job Responsibilities
- Planning audit engagements and leading onsite teams
- Preparing accounts and drafting tax computations
- Liaising with clients to resolve any queries, escalating more complex matters to the manager/partner
- Reviewing team members’ work before passing completed files to the manager
- Coaching juniors and providing feedback on the quality of their work and performance
- Controlling assignment time in line with pre-determined budget
Job Requirements
- First Degree in a Numerate Course such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.
- A professional accounting qualification – ACA or ICAN part qualified.
- Experience in planning and leading external audits (minimum criteria)
- Minimum 3-5 years post-qualification cognate experience in a reputable audit firm
- Good auditing and accounting knowledge
- Client-facing experience
- A good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
