Job Description

As an Associate Trade Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, ensuring the smooth execution of trade transactions and supporting our clients in their international trade activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation and review of trade finance documents, such as letters of credit, guarantees, and trade-related contracts
  • Verifying the compliance of trade transactions with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and financial institutions in the facilitation of trade finance activities
  • Monitoring and managing the progress of trade transactions, including processing payments and resolving any discrepancies
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing trade finance-related inquiries and offering guidance to clients

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of trade finance operations, international trade, and financial instruments. Additionally, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential qualities.
