Job Title: Assistant Storekeeper

Job Summary
The Assistant Storekeeper supports the Storekeeper in managing daily store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage of items, and timely issuance of materials. The role helps maintain order, accountability, and efficiency within the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming goods.
- Help arrange and store items systematically to ensure easy identification and access.
- Support the issuance of materials based on approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory logs regularly.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and reconciliation of physical stock.
- Report damaged, expired, or missing items to the Storekeeper.
- Ensure the store area is clean, safe, and well organized at all times.
- Support preparation of inventory and stock reports.
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and accounts teams when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Storekeeper or Management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND.
- 1–2 years’ experience in a store, warehouse, or inventory-related role (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory procedures.
- Ability to read, write, and maintain basic records.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Honest, reliable, and physically fit for store duties.
