Job Description
Uptown Farms seeks an Agronomist to evaluate soil composition (pH, nutrients, organic matter) and design fertilization and conservation plans. The role requires applying plant biology and genetics to optimize planting, cultivation, and harvest schedules; diagnosing and treating crop issues such as pests, mildew, and nutrient deficiencies; leading research trials to improve crops, techniques, and technologies; and advising farmers on practices that enhance efficiency, profitability, and environmental stewardship. The Agronomist will also develop sustainable methods to reduce erosion, manage water resources, and minimize pollution. Job Type: Permanent. Salary: ₦80,00.00–₦100,00.00 per month.
