Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial medical assessments of patients seeking admission to the healthcare facility.
• Obtain and review patients’ medical history, current symptoms, and relevant diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to facilitate a smooth admission process.
• Assess patients’ medical needs and determine the appropriate level of care and treatment.
• Communicate with patients and their families to explain the admission process and address any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all medical and legal requirements for patient admissions.
• Consult with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed to make informed admission decisions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with medical practices and regulations.
• Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients during the admission process.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice in healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in a relevant medical specialty (if applicable).
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team.
