Job Description

The incumbent will play a key role in managing and optimizing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer invoices.
• Monitor and manage collections, reducing outstanding receivables and mitigating credit risk.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
• Develop and implement best practices for accounts payable and receivables management.
• Generate financial reports and analysis for senior management.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payables and Receivables Officer or in a similar role
• Membership of ICAN/ACCA is desirable and an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Zoho and Microsoft Office Suite.
