Job Description
Role: Accountant
D44 Technologies Services Limited is a Water treatment company with the professional capacity and experience to execute water treatment and fire protection services. We manage, install, upgrade, and repair all systems that fall within the category of the above-mentioned field for residential and commercial/industrial facilities.
Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Auditing financial documents and procedures
- Reconciling bank statements and calculating tax and pension payments and returns
- Track record of bookkeeping
- Have a flair for spotting numeric mistakes
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Procurement management/logistics
- Inventory management
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Requirements and Skills
- BSc in accounting, finance, or relevant degree
- 1-2 years’ experience working as an Accountant
- Additional certification is a plus (ACA, ACCA)
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Expertise with QuickBooks or FreshBooks
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Benefit:
Salary range: ₦120.00 – ₦150.00 per month
