Job Description
Industry: Insurance Brokerage
Location: Mende, Maryland – Lagos
Reports To: Head of Finance
Salary: N200,00 – N250,00 Net
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Reconcile premiums, claims, commissions, and income effectively.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable along with statutory remittances.
- Assist in the budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Support audit activities in compliance with NAICOM and IFRS standards.
- Implement robust financial controls to enhance efficiency.
Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance or brokerage sector. Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is essential. Relevant certifications are a plus.
