Job Description

To assist with the management of the school’s department and ensure efficiency with all monetary transactions, budget, and cost-saving measures.

Major Roles/Responsibilities:

• Ensure bills and invoices are prepared according to the Rules and Regulations governing such.
• Issue receipts for all payments.
• Handle all banking transactions, including reconciliation – Receipts.
• Ensure proper recording of all transactions immediately they are made.
• Debt Management/Control.
• Assist in the preparation of cash flows and yearly budgets.
• Monitor & reconcile expenditure against the budget.
• Liaise with the Admissions Office towards ensuring that all children are on the Bursary Records.
• Ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed (for easy referencing).
• Weekly report of activities.
• Any other assignment as may be given from time to time.

Requirements:

• B. Sc. / B. A / HND in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• ICAN Certificate required
• Accounting skills
