JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for a detail-oriented finance manager to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant’s responsibilities include preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, tax returns preparation, audit preparations, and other accounting tasks.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards, strong financial analysis skills, Excel proficiency, detail-orientation, and the ability to work under pressure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
  • Forecasting revenue and expenditure.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Supporting Capital raising efforts.
  • Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Providing financial strategy and ensuring operational cash flow.
  • Coordinating annual audit preparations.
  • Resolving audit findings and compliance issues.
  • Preparing tax returns and supporting system development.
  • Assisting junior staff and performing other accounting duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • ACCA/ACA Qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of tax laws and IFRS.
  • Strong financial analysis, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₦300,00.00 – ₦320,00.00 per month
