Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous INSURANCE UNDERWRITER to assess the risk factors of potential clients and establish coverage terms. The ideal candidate will ensure a balanced ratio of favorable risks, minimize claim costs, and maintain competitive pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Review insurance applications for compliance
- Assess clients’ background and financial status
- Liaise with specialists for information
- Determine underwriting alternatives
- Develop insurance quotes
- Negotiate policy terms
- Maintain detailed underwriting records
- Balance risks for future predictability
- Build a profitable book of business
- Ensure compliance with insurance laws
Requirements and Skills:
- 4-7 years’ insurance underwriting experience
- Knowledge of smart systems and analytical tools

- Insurance diploma or certification (preferred)
