Job Description
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Laborer to join our team in Kano.
The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse facility.
High-Level Functions & Roles:
- Loading and offloading materials manually, onto pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
- Assisting in lifting and arranging stock during stock counts and joint surveys.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Conditioning and re-bagging torn materials.
- Maximizing space usage during stacking.
- Repairing pallets and ensuring safety during operations.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Cleaning and maintaining housekeeping of the warehouse.
- Handling any other matters that may arise from time to time.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Hausa language.
- Good knowledge of stacking and safety procedures.
- Very good knowledge of efficient space utilization.
- Ability to use safety equipment as required for each job.
- Capacity to lift to 30 Kg or more.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Kano.
