Job Description
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team in Lekki, Lagos. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and a professional attitude.
Responsibilities:
– Safely and responsibly operate a company vehicle to transport passengers, goods, or materials.
– Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety guidelines.
– Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle, including regular inspections and routine servicing.
– Ensure the safety of passengers or cargo during transportation.
– Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations in a timely manner.
– Assist with loading and unloading goods or materials as needed.
– Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and expenses.
– Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or traffic violations to the appropriate authorities and company management.
– Provide excellent customer service and assistance to passengers as required.
– Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle use and safety.
Qualifications:
– Valid driver’s license issued by the appropriate authority.
– Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
– Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations.
– Knowledge of local roads and routes in Lekki, Lagos.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to lift and move heavy items if required.
– Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
– Professional appearance and conduct.
– Punctuality and reliability.
