Job Description
A backend developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic of a web application. They work closely with the frontend development team to ensure smooth integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Their main focus is on the functionality and performance of the website or application.
The responsibilities of a backend developer may include:
- Designing and implementing scalable and efficient server-side applications
- Collaborating with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements
- Writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code
- Identifying and fixing technical issues and bugs
- Developing and maintaining databases and APIs
- Optimizing application performance
