Job Description
A Fraud Investigator is responsible for identifying and preventing fraudulent activities within an organization. They use various techniques and tools to gather evidence, analyze data, and interview witnesses to uncover fraudulent schemes.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting investigations on suspected fraudulent activities and transactions.
- Gathering and analyzing evidence using forensic techniques.
- Interviewing employees, customers, and witnesses to obtain information.
- Reviewing financial records, statements, and documentation for irregularities.
- Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and legal teams.
- Developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies and policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fraud investigation or a related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
