We are urgently hiring a medical assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess good organizational skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient flow.
- Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
- Chaperone for Doctors during medical procedures with opposite sex.
- Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) filing daily, weekly and monthly as required.
- Case notes/Recordkeeping.
- Bring out case notes of all follow-ups before their arrival.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of clients’ results, review with Doctor before dispatch.
- Ensure that the medical personnel keeps to allotted clients’ services timing.
- Assist front desk when there is patient pressure.
Job Requirement:
- B.Sc. /B. Tech. /H.N.D. in Microbiology, Biotechnology & Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or Science Lab. Tech. (Minimum of 2.1 or an Upper Credit).
- Good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of patient care for medical assistance practice scope.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good computer skills.
