Job Description
Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Officer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing and resolving all technical support requests efficiently and effectively.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving system failures or other technical problems
- Installing and configuring computer systems, software, and peripherals
- Maintaining and updating IT documentation and tracking systems
- Collaborating with other IT staff to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance
The ideal candidate for this role should have a solid understanding of IT systems and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for effectively liaising with internal stakeholders.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT support and trouble ticket management
- Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows and MacOS
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Knowledge of computer networks, protocols, and security principles
