Job Description
Responsibilities
Our client is working on launching a “beta” version of its marketplace, which is already 95% completed. We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to take technical ownership of the platform. The preliminary development was undertaken by a renowned agency in Toronto (Lazer) and has been well-documented. The main objectives include:
- Reviewing and completing the payment system, including integration with Stripe.
- Reviewing and testing the scheduling system.
- Reviewing and testing the video calling system.
- Releasing a beta version of the marketplace.
- Growing your contributions to take ownership of the technical stack and act as a CTO.
- Fixing the payment system’s integration with Stripe.
- Designing and implementing 3rd party calendar integrations with the scheduling system (post-launch).
- Reviewing and refining the design of the video calling system (Twilio) to enhance the user experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role.
- Portfolio of design projects.
- Experience with WordPress.
- Experience with tools like Figma and Tailwind.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Multiple experiences working with SaaS.
- Ability to solve problems with efficient and optimized solutions (not just a “Do-er”).
