Job Description
- Draft, analyze, proofread, and review contracts, agreements, legal documentations, reports, and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Monitor the maintenance of the registers and other records required to be maintained by the Company under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA).
- Provide advice on corporate legal issues and business matters.
- Ensure all matters are effectively and professionally handled.
- Monitor and file tax returns at FIRS/LIRS.
- Preparation and vetting of court processes.
- Management of court cases.
- Liaise with government agencies on behalf of clients.
- Review and advice on legal implications of legislations, policies, guidelines, etc.
- Conduct accurate research and analysis of legal problems.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of documents and correspondence.
