Job Description
Ascentech Services Ltd is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, publishing financial statements, handling closings, ensuring compliance with accounting and financial regulations, performing audits, computing taxes, and more.
Requirements and skills:
- BSC/ HND in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
- 5+ years of work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Additional certification (ICAN or ACA) is a plus
