Job Description
Our client is a private sector led Tier 1 Microfinance Bank that provides a versatile range of financial services to low-income groups, micro, small and medium enterprises, self-employed with entrepreneurial skills. Due to expansion, they are currently in need of an ACCOUNT SUPPORT OFFICER.
Location: Lekki, Lagos Island
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Maintaining accurate financial records.
- Contacting clients to ensure timely payment and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Analyzing financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Creating and updating customer databases to ensure accurate information.
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Conducting market research to identify potential growth opportunities.
- Ability to undertake bank reconciliation statement, daily call-over reporting, financial statement analysis.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of HND in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and writing skills
