Job Description

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Business Development and Portfolio Management Intern. As a sister organization of the World Bank and a member of the World Bank Group, IFC is the largest global development institution focusing on the private sector in developing countries. The organization aims to achieve two goals by 2030: ending extreme poverty and promoting shared prosperity worldwide.

The successful candidate will be responsible for various duties and accountabilities, including supporting market research, client mapping, pitch book development, and financial analysis. The internship is a full-time position based in Lagos.

Selection criteria for this position include enrollment in a Master’s degree program, 2-3 years of previous work experience, preferably in accounting or finance, and fluency in English.
