Job Description
Total Child School is a co-educational Nursery, Primary and Secondary School located at the C.E.M Children Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. We provide a beautiful, natural and highly conducive atmosphere for learning. We are currently recruiting an Account Officer for our school.
- Manage and maintain financial records and accounting systems for the school.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with school administrators and departments to gather financial data and support budgetary decisions.
- Ensure compliance with school financial policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor school budgets and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
- Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Manage payroll processes, including calculating salaries, deductions, and benefits for school staff.
Requirements:
- Interested candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in a school is an added advantage.
